CORRUPTION ATTEMPT

It's getting colder, the days are getting shorter, sometimes it's raining - that means autumn has already started in full swing. As usual in the same group: Małgosia, Asia, Andrzej and me –  went for a little walk around the area.

Oh - I forgot about Walker aka Łokieć (in English it translates as 'Elbow') - "defense dog" 😂😂😂 - he was with us.

This "Łokieć" is a diminutive of Walker - And that's it.

We are probably one of the few nations that have a tendency to diminutives all names, etc., and that is how the above-mentioned Łokieć was created. And that's it.

We chose the Stobrawski Landscape Park - we already know a bit about it - we were here last year.

More or less at the same time - which I described in: Autumn Colors

Unfortunately the walk started with bribery and attempted corruption - Oh, yes!!

Andrzej - because he was the perpetrator (who would have thought) - with the help of treats he brought, bribed my dog to such an extent that whenever we stopped anywhere, Łokieć would immediately stand next to Andrzej - yeah - the dog and I will talk in home.

There are still a few mushroom pickers about, so we don't stand out as much as we did recently. For us, however, there are many "miracles". For example, the oudemansiella mucida, commonly known as porcelain fungus - a white mushroom growing on a fallen beech tree.

Visible from a distance, shiny, covered in mucus.

I was fascinated by its view from below, so I lay down next to the trunk, trying to take the shot as I had planned. It was at this point that  Gosia took this photo (below).

The title photo is the result of this "lying down"

Andrzej found a colony of slime molds on a tree trunk and devoted himself to observing them.

And this is the result of his efforts.

Here and there, among the twigs and leaves, forest beetles could be found.

Some of them tried to hide but they didn't quite succeed - they needed to find a bigger mushroom :-)

Małgosia also "caught and photographed" some tiny mushroom.

Our attention was drawn to the silver-green moss. When enlarged, it turned out to be covered with dewdrops. In the photo below, the "grass" covered with waterdrops... is moss, and the "branches" in the foreground are... dry grass. It's matter of perspective.

Sometimes, with the right angle of sunlight falling on the spiderwebs, you could see the dispersion of light - a kind of small rainbow.

After some time we stopped for a short rest.

In the photo, our "Geriatric Club" - in full.

But I am tormented by the thought - what is this corrupt villain lying in front of us so happy about - although it was actually Andrzej who took the photo, so maybe he promised him something again... 😕
