IN SEARCH OF AUTUMN

In search of Autumn, we went with friends to Muszkowice, or rather to the Nature Reserve: Muszkowice Beechs Forest.

We hoped for some discoloration of the leaves, but we were disappointed because the beeches - as if nothing had happened - were green??!

It's a pity - we have to look for something interesting.
I was amazed by the ivies growing on the trees, actually something I had never seen before - blooming ivies. Okay, it's not quite blooming, but I still had never seen it.

Withered ivy flowers

The day was rather cloudy, no rainy but humid and wet. Taking advantage of the "hole" in the clouds, the sun appeared for a moment and suddenly the magic began - the forest "burned" - not literally, but in that one moment the trees started to steam and looked as if they were smoking - beautiful.

It was a moment, I didn't even have time to change the lens to show the panorama, but it only shows how much energy there is in the sun...

We went looking further (for autumn). The only discolored leaves being those lying on the ground or in the stream. Yes - there is a little stream that flows through the reserve, over which plenty of Spring Snowflakes grow in spring. There used to be a wooden bridge, over which you could cross to the other side, but unfortunately it fell apart over time, and a new one has never been built - it's a pity. So now wellies will have to do.

But what is autumn worth without mushrooms? There were at least some of them.
Not necessarily edible, but quite nice :-)

Most of it grew on fallen tree trunks.

On the lowest mushroom you can see the springtail, which I wrote about in the previous post

Of course, there were also those growing directly on the ground

Well, what can I say - it was supposed to be autumn, colorful and nostalgic, but it turned out colorful (from mushrooms), but there is no nostalgia.

Okay - I'm waiting. Maybe next time
